Hygrometer Calibration Tool

Salt Test (24 hours): Mix a spoon of salt with drops of distilled water into a thick paste in a small cap. Place the paste and your hygrometer in a sealed bag/container for 24 hours at room temperature. The chamber should stabilize at 75% RH. Use the reading to compute a permanent offset.

New Humidor Seasoning Checklist

First-time setup for wood humidors. Click items as you complete them.

Wipe interior wood with distilled water.
Place a small dish of distilled water inside.
Place a calibrated hygrometer inside.
Close the lid and wait 7 days (Do NOT open).
Remove water dish and add Boveda/Humidification source.
